1. Information We Collect
Timer End does not currently require a user account, email address or password to create a countdown. However, certain information is processed so the service can create, display, protect and manage countdown pages.
- Countdown information: title, optional message or details, selected time zone, event date and time, countdown end behavior, repeat settings, deletion settings and selected design.
- Technical and security information: IP address may be processed temporarily for security checks. The application stores a one-way keyed network fingerprint for rate limiting instead of storing the raw address in its countdown and report records. Browser or device user-agent information and other security-related data may also be used.
- Usage information: basic information such as countdown page views, the last time a countdown was viewed and general website usage information when analytics tools are enabled.
- Browser storage: Timer End may use local browser storage to remember preferences such as the time zone previously selected on the creation page.
2. Public Countdown Content
Countdown pages are created for sharing and may be accessible to anyone who has the countdown URL. A countdown title, optional message, date, time zone and other information displayed on the countdown page should therefore be treated as public information.
3. How We Use Information
Information collected through Timer End may be used to:
- Create, display and operate countdown pages.
- Generate unique shareable countdown links.
- Apply countdown behavior such as keeping a memory, counting up, repeating automatically or disabling the page after the selected period.
- Protect the service from bots, spam, fraud, malicious activity and excessive automated requests.
- Detect content that may violate Timer End rules or create security or operational risks.
- Measure service performance and understand general usage patterns.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the website.
- Display advertising when advertising services are enabled.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile
When enabled, Timer End uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic and to protect countdown creation forms from spam and abuse.
Turnstile may process technical information about the visitor and browser that is necessary to perform its security function. When Turnstile is enabled, Timer End sends the verification token to Cloudflare for server-side validation.
For more information about Cloudflare's privacy practices, see the Cloudflare Turnstile documentation and privacy information: Cloudflare Turnstile .
5. Google Services, Analytics and Advertising
Timer End may use Google services such as Google Tag, Google Analytics and, when enabled, Google AdSense. These services may use cookies, browser storage, device information, IP addresses and similar technologies to provide analytics, security, advertising and measurement features.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable law, visitor choices, consent settings and Google configuration.
You can learn more about how Google uses information and cookies through Google's privacy information: Google Privacy Policy and How Google Uses Cookies .
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Timer End and third-party services used by the website may use cookies or similar technologies for security, analytics, preferences and advertising.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain cookies or browser storage may affect some website features or third-party services.
7. When Information May Be Shared
Timer End does not sell countdown creators' personal information. Information may be processed or shared only when reasonably necessary for service operation, including:
- Hosting, infrastructure and database providers.
- Cloudflare for security and Turnstile verification.
- Google services when analytics or advertising features are enabled.
- Service providers that help operate, protect or maintain the website.
- Authorities or other parties when required by applicable law, legal process, security needs or to protect the rights and safety of the service and its users.
8. Data Retention and Countdown Deletion
Countdown information is generally retained while the countdown remains active or while it is needed to provide the selected countdown behavior.
If a countdown is deleted by its creator or automatically disabled under its selected settings, public access to that countdown may be removed or disabled. Deletion from public view does not necessarily mean that every associated record is immediately erased from databases, logs or backups. Limited records may remain for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, backup or legal purposes until they are routinely removed or no longer needed.
9. Content Moderation and Abuse Prevention
Timer End may review, flag, restrict, disable or remove countdowns that appear to violate service rules, involve prohibited or harmful content, create security concerns, misuse the service or interfere with normal operation.
Technical information may be used to investigate abuse, enforce rate limits and protect the service. Where the application needs a persistent network identifier for rate limiting, it stores a one-way keyed fingerprint rather than the raw IP address.
10. Privacy of Children and Young Users
Timer End is a general-audience service and is not designed to collect sensitive personal information from children. Users should not publish private information about children or other individuals in countdown titles or messages.
Where local law requires parental or guardian involvement for a young person to use an online service, the service should be used only with the required involvement or permission.
11. Security
Timer End uses reasonable technical and operational measures to protect the service, including form validation, anti-spam controls, rate limiting and server-side security checks. Cloudflare Turnstile may also be used when enabled.
No website, database, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should avoid submitting sensitive information that is not necessary for creating a countdown.
12. International Processing
Service providers used by Timer End may operate servers or process information in different countries. As a result, information may be processed outside the country where a visitor is located, subject to the privacy and security practices of the relevant service providers and applicable law.
13. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights or choices regarding personal information, cookies, advertising or analytics. These may include requesting access, correction or deletion of certain personal information, or managing consent and browser settings.
Requests can be sent using the contact information below. Timer End may need enough information to understand and verify a request before acting on it.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Timer End changes, new features are introduced, service providers change or legal and operational requirements evolve.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
