A countdown for the biggest day of your year
A wedding countdown turns months of planning into something you can see: the days, hours and minutes left until you say your vows. Every wedding has its own date, so this page starts with the creator rather than a fixed timer. Set the date and the time of your ceremony, pick the Romantic design and share one link with your partner, your family and every guest.
Guests stop asking how long is left, and the link becomes a small part of the celebration that people enjoy checking as the day gets closer.
Create your wedding countdown in three steps
- Open the creator with the Romantic design ready, then choose the time zone where the ceremony takes place.
- Enter your wedding date and the ceremony time, a title such as "Our Wedding Day" and a short message for your guests.
- Create the countdown and share the link or QR code in your invitations, on your wedding website or in the family chat.
Ideas for your wedding countdown
- Print the QR code on your save-the-date cards so guests can open the countdown with their phone camera.
- Choose Start Counting Up as the end behavior. After the ceremony, the same page shows how long you have been married.
- Use the message for the details guests ask about most: the venue, the dress code or the hashtag for photos.
- Write both your names in the Created By field so guests know who the countdown is from.
- Keep the countdown private and share it only with guests, or list it on the Public Countdowns page if you are happy for anyone to see it.
- Make separate countdowns for the engagement party, the bachelor or bachelorette weekend and the honeymoon flight.
- Send the link to relatives abroad who cannot travel, so they can follow the final hours with you.
